On Friday 3rd June 2016 The Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus was the Patronal Festival for the Church of The Good Shepherd, Forest Road.
We were delighted to welcome the choir of Voices Together to lead our singing and to sing anthems during our Solemn Mass, Procession and Benediction. Our own Fr David Raine SSC preached the homily. Our worship was followed by refreshments served in the Parish Room.
We were pleased to welcome priests and people from other parishes across the Diocese as well as from the Wearmouth Deanery. Many thanks to all who were involved in the planning and preparation of the Festival. It was, as always, a brilliant team effort.
